centos error sqlite3

after the installation, this is the error i got:
error while loading shared libraries: libsqlite3.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

the libsqlite3.so.1 is in the /usr/lib ... so wonder . why it can't be found.

Hi,

Are you compiling from the old sources or using the binaries from the download section? There are no binaries for CentOS there.

Have you installed the dependencies?

What is the result of running the command bellow?

ldd /usr/lib/libsqlite3.so.1

hii bernado, i compile from the old sources, pulled from the github repository.

all the dependencies were installed, compiled nanomsg , binn as well.

ldd /usr/lib/libsqlite3.so.1 result:

linux-vdso.so.1 => (0x00007ffc3d3c4000)
libbinn.so.1 => /lib/libbinn.so.1 (0x00007f2b4acc5000)
libnanomsg.so.5.0.0 => not found
libc.so.6 => /lib64/libc.so.6 (0x00007f2b4a901000)
/lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 (0x00007f2b4b1a4000)

We can see that the libnanomsg.so.5.0.0 was not found.

Maybe it is in the /usr/local/lib folder.

You can try these 2 options:

Use the LD_LIBRARY_PATH when opening the application:

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib sqlite3

Use patchelf to add the above path as a rpath on the libsqlite3 library.

sudo patchelf --set-rpath /usr/local/lib /usr/lib/libsqlite3.so.1

hmm, when running a python shell,
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib python , the sqlite3.sqlite_version is 3.7.17 while the version i compiled and installed is 3.15.2.
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib sqlite3 ==> version 3.15.2

result of objdump -p objdump -p ../python2.7/lib-dynload/_sqlite3.so:
.....
Dynamic Section:
RUNPATH /usr/local/lib
NEEDED libsqlite3.so.0
NEEDED libpython2.7.so.1.0
NEEDED libpthread.so.0
....
So wheen i run LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib python, import sqlite3 and run conn = sqlite3.connect('file:/home/deployer/file.db?replica=master&slave=tcp://ip:port') i have the error:
sqlite3.OperationalError: unable to open database file

Python's SQLite wrapper is using the libsqlite3.so.0 instead of the libsqlite3.so.1.

You have 2 options:

Rename the library on the /usr/lib from libsqlite3.so.1 to libsqlite3.so.0 and continue using the LD_LIBRARY_PATH
Use the patchelf to change the dependency to the modified SQLite library with the new name:
```
   patchelf --replace-needed libsqlite3.so.0 libsqlite3.so.1 /usr/lib/python2.7/lib-dynload/_sqlite3.so
```

The Python sqlite3 wrapper does not support it.

APSW does:

But the public version of LiteReplica is buggy. Some errors may not be announced. The production one is reliable.
