Is there a test suite for litereplica?

Is there a test suite for litereplica that we can use to test the software on our special target architecture?

Hi!

Unhappily there is not still an automated test suite. The tests are made manually, using tools to compare the content (each page) of master and slave dbs and also analyzing the output of the library in debug mode.

But it is a good idea to have a completely automated test suite.

I will start to work on that as soon as possible.

comparing master and slave database after certain set of operations should not be too complicated (the two copies should be binary identical,right?).

Is it an option to apply the sqlite test suite?

It is not so complete as a test suite because there are many corner cases to test.

But you can start with it.

In the litereplica folder there is a sub-folder named utils. Inside of it you will find the diffdb.c file.

Compile it to get the tool to compare the db files.

I guess that this command is sufficient:

gcc diffdb.c -o diffdb

Hi Bernardo, I was trying to do the same and this code didn't seem to work for me. I'm not sure what the issue is. Any ideas where the problem might be?

Can you show the command(s) you are running and the error messages?
